I was born in Mallorca, Spain, in 1991. I grew up surrounded by Astérix, Mortadelo y Filemón and Conan the Barbarian comics. I studied Fine Arts at Universitat de Barcelona, where my teachers would always tell me off for stubbornly introducing narrative elements in my paintings. The only thing that would ever drag me away from writing and drawing my own comics was my obsession with concept art. Neither of them were interesting topic in the eyes of my teachers, ever.
While still studying at college, I ranked 2nd place at Concurso de Humor Gráfico Gin (Gin’s Graphic Humour Contest), arranged by El Jueves Magazine in 2012. For me, seeing something that I had drawn by my own hand published in such a legendary satirical magazine was a dream come true. Later that year, I won a local comic contest in Cornellà, Barcelona, which allowed me to meet professional cartoonists such as Kap, Ermengol, Néstor and Tres. We worked together for a year, publishing evenly and I learned a lot from them about the business.
While studying the last year of Fine Arts (2013), I worked really hard on doing what I felt passionate about, so I focused my final work on creating concept art based on The Neverending Story, which was one of my favourite books when I was little. After receiving a rate of 9 out of 10 for my work, I would abandon concept art for a while, since I grew more interested in comics for a few years (winning comic awards in humble contests was very exciting for me in that time).
In 2014 I drew three dark humour comic strips which granted me the first place at Connecta’t al Còmic Scholarship. This meant that I would publish new strips twice a month at El Jueves Magazine for a whole year. I was very grateful for that opportunity.
That same year I started working as an intern at a local mobile games company, Playspace, in Palma de Mallorca. In a few years I gained enough experience to become Senior 2D artist. I developed my graphic design skills, created product assets and marketing creativities, and also I worked as UI/UX designer and animator. Almost everything I know about how to be professional and how to behave as such, I learned it there. I had wonderful colleagues and I learned a lot from them, specially those skills that make people enjoy being around you at work: teamwork, receptiveness, and always giving your best.
Later on, I wrote a modest fantasy story that won the Best Story Award at 33r Concurso de Cómic Ciutat de Cornellà. This came as a genuine surprise, since I had always thought of myself as an illustrator, not a scriptwriter. Next step was to publish my own graphic novel. Thanks to Spanish publisher Dolmen, I had the pleasure to witness my project arrive to the bookstores in November 2020. Herejías, Mitos Oscuros  (Spanish for Heressies: Dark Myths) is a compilation of short urban-fantasy stories loosely based on biblical mythology, strongly inspired on Neil Gaiman’s Sandman, Jamie Delano’s Hellblazer and even the TV show Black Mirror.
By the end of 2019, I had been on the same company for 5 years and I felt like I had learned al that I could learn from it. Also, I felt the urge of doing what I really liked, whitch was Concept Art. So I left Playspace for good (even though I keep a great relationship with my old co-workers, we get along really well and hang out every once in a while) and I started to study a Master's Degree in Concept Art and Illustration at UA School (Valencia, Spain).
Currently, I work closely with other concept artists, creating projects of our own for different video game companies.
